Yuri Gore is an emerging composer from NSW
Australia, whose work is predominantly heard in
independent films or games. His most recent
soundtrack was for the award-winning web-series
Comic Timings of Life’ (released in 2021). Though
most of his work is in soundtracks, Yuri has also
released two full length orchestral album ‘Sesshu
Toyo’ (for chamber orchestra: December 2020) and
Destroyer of Man’ (for symphonic orchestra:
December 2019). Preparing for release in early
2022, is Yuri’s second full length feature film
soundtrack for the indie feature ‘Painkiller.’

Though Yuri’s work is predominantly
soundtrack/orchestral based, he is also the sole
member of the metal band ‘Sykeus’ who plans on
released their first full length album early 2022.  

Yuri attended an audition based musical high
school before furthering his musical studies at
university where he obtained his Bachelor of Music
Composition graduating with Distinction.
Throughout this time, he was a part of many
different Orchestras, Choirs, and Ensembles many
of different styles, multiple of which toured the world
and won awards for their abilities in China, Europe,
and the USA. Due to the exposure of these groups Yuri is extremely competent in many different styles and genres from, Classical era to Jazz, Choral to contemporary, and everything in between.

Whilst Yuri is most known for his compositional skills, he is a talented performer and session musician in his own right. Yuri performs, records, and teaches Clarinet, Guitar (both electric and acoustic), Bass, Drums, Vocals, Piano, Violin, and various other woodwind instruments such as Ocarina and Recorder.
